The Psychosocial Support Service (PSS) delivers an integrated psychosocial service intervention with physical health through the established mental health stepped-care model across the north and eastern catchment.
The program provides one-to-one psychosocial supports and individual peer support using the Intentional Peer Support model and incorporates peer-developed and evidence-based group education and support programs delivered by our trained peer facilitators. Through integration of intake and assessment with our partners' 'Community Health Navigators', a thorough screening process is conducted; the results of which informs tailored and coordinated recovery plans to address participants' individual requirements so as to facilitate optimum mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
Under the general direction of the PSS Coordinator, Senior Recovery Workers will provide day to day support to participants that have complex needs, participate in risk management processes and maintain positive and strong relationships with community partners.
As a Senior Recovery Worker you will have demonstrated experience in the provision of psychosocial rehabilitation services and will be a resource for the PSS Recovery Worker team, ensuring that they are supported to provide optimum service to those in our care.
