Victim Support Service is a not-for-profit community-based organisation that has a lead role in providing services to victims of crime in South Australia. We currently provide services in Adelaide and 7 regional areas.
A rare opportunity has arisen for a manager to join our team, playing a vital role in managing the day-to-day effectiveness of our programs.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Client Services, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Coordinators providing frontline services for victims of crime and domestic violence throughout South Australia. You will oversee the development and delivery of programs, including supporting the implementation of effective service delivery, budget setting and reporting.
A key part of the role is ensuring that structures and systems support the achievement of our organisation's goals and that a continuous improvement culture is in place across teams and programs.
This is a full time contract role until June 2020, with opportunity for extension.
You are experienced in the community sector with some exposure to trauma counselling and bring with you a supportive management style, optimism and passion for what you do. You are confident to have difficult discussions, enjoy problem solving and want to work in an environment where your work makes a real difference.
This position requires flexibility in working hours and work outside of normal business hours from time to time as there is some regional travel.
Take the next step in your leadership career now, with a trauma informed and community focused organisation.
