The Senior Project Officer – Oral Health will lead the development and implementation of the Victorian Aboriginal Oral Health Strategy. The Strategy aims to strengthen culturally safe oral healthcare and prevention programs and services, to improve health outcomes for Victorian Aboriginal Communities. It has a key focus on children and families, and priority groups requiring acute dental treatment.
This role will combine evidence-based practice, project management and capacity building expertise to build oral health competencies across ACCO workforces while integrating oral health into holistic approaches to Aboriginal health and wellbeing. The role involves a significant amount of community engagement to drive strategic partnerships, stakeholder relationships, project governance and state-wide leadership and advocacy
