• Redress Support Service
• Location: Bundoora
• Position : Part Time (3 days a week)
• Salary: $65,325.52 to $70,287.40

About the role:

As Case Review and Application worker you will be part of a small team responding to the needs of Aboriginal people who wanting to apply for redress. You will provide support to the Ngarra Jarra Noun Support workers by applying for and summarising records held by both government and non government department and finalising the NRS application form by integrated the information contained in the clients file with the client statement of child sexual abuse as obtained by the Ngarra Jarra Noun Support staff.

These activities will include:

• Lodging file requests (obtained by the support worker) to the relevant government or community service organisation;
• On receipt of the file, thoroughly reading and summarising the file and integrating the clients statement of abuse to ensure timelines and other details match
• Where major discrepancies exist between the client statement and the client file, discussing this with the support worker, who will explore further with the client prior to the application form being completed.
• Finalise the NRS Application Form
