Full Time Closed Period role – 12 month Parental Leave contract
About the Role:
- Manage a team of 5 HR Compliance Officers and our HR Immigration Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service in the compliance and immigration space (including but not limited to police checks, working with children’s checks, NDIS worker screening checks, visa sponsorship and immigration services).
- Work in partnership with the HR Services Manager and a team of 8 HR Officers to align operational services and provide consistent advice to the business across both of our teams
- Drive operational excellence in delivery of HR operational services to employees and volunteers across the business.
- Comprehensive documentation of all processes within the HR Compliance function completed ensuring all relevant processes / procedures / detailed work instruction / process maps are provided and updated where required.
- Manage relationships between key stakeholders to ensure business objectives are delivered.
- Support the Head of People Services in participating in Operations Review meetings with the business to support the identification and resolution of outstanding issues and work on continuous improvement.
You will have the ability to:
- Lead a fast-paced transactional HR or operations function
- Understand and apply a specialist level knowledge in HR
- Demonstrate your experience in a diverse and decentralised HR environment with multiple internal relationships.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement and efficiency opportunities utilising highly developed problem-solving skills
- Ability to review and analyse complex operational issues and recommend solutions
