Therapeutic Guidelines are widely respected and are an accepted part of the Australian medical culture. They are used in all Australian medical and pharmacy schools, and are used extensively in public teaching hospitals and in community medical and pharmacy practices.

Our offices are located in West Melbourne on the fringe of the CBD and only a few minutes walk from North Melbourne station.

The Opportunity

The Communications manager is primarily responsible for the production of and implementation of all communications activity. An integral member of the Sales & Marketing team, this person will be responsible for managing budgets and deadlines, assisting with the development and preparation of marketing plans and board reports, and driving social media and direct marketing campaigns. Some interstate travel will be required, as the Communications Manager will represent TGL at conferences and events.

Is this you?

If you are a self-starter with experience in driving multi-channel communications plans please read on. We are looking for a highly organised and capable self-starter who can hit the ground running. Strong experience in the health or digital publishing industry will be highly regarded as well as experience in digital marketing; print production; video content production; e-marketing; social media communications; newsletter development and distribution; and experience managing CRM (Customer Relationship Marketing) databases and communications.

The successful candidate will also have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing or advertising role with demonstrated experience in driving production of communications materials.
  • Strong MS Office experience, including Excel (essential)
  • Website/CMS management and updating (WordPress experience an advantage)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills (essential)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills (essential)
  • Exceptional writing skills. (essential)
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team (essential)
  • Experience in database management (highly regarded)
  • Basic WordPress, Photoshop and InDesign experience (highly regarded)
