The Strategy, Planning and Performance team is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the Women’s Strategic Service Plan 2035, Strategic Plan 2022-2025 and the Organisational (annual) Plan. The team develops these strategies and plans through consultation with our clinical leaders and staff, consumer and volunteers, with our Executive and Board. We report on these various strategies and plans to demonstrate progress toward our vision and purpose including any recommendations set out by these documents. The team also undertakes planning and provides support for teams and projects across the Women’s linked to our Strategic Plan and Organisational Plan. The Strategy team sits within the Clinical Excellence & Systems Improvement Directorate. This Directorate includes a number of in-house Project Managers who work to support the planning and implementation of significant organisational projects, including service model redesign projects, linked to our Strategy.
As part of a small but dynamic team, the Project Officer will support a range of strategic business initiatives including: coordinating quarterly reporting against the Strategic Plan and the Organisational Plan; undertaking external environmental scans; and supporting the planning of and leading multiple projects from concept phase through to completion. These projects may be part of the Strategy, Planning and Performance team’s workplan, or the Clinical Excellence & Systems Improvement Directorate’s workplan.

1. COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

2. Influenza Vaccination Requirement
In line with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, some health care workers are now required to have their flu vaccination to work in health care.
