Do you have solid experience in dealing with customers with complex behaviours? Are you a compassionate, patient and kind natured individual? Shifts are varied and flexible – 4-8 hour shifts between 6am-10pm and overnight shifts.

You could earn between $30.46 and $39.26 per hour, depending on your employment status, as a base rate.  Shift penalties also apply!

About us

Sylvanvale Limited is an award winning, not-for-profit services provider, supporting over 750 children and adults with a disability. We pride ourselves on assisting individuals, from a range of diverse cultural backgrounds, to live and participate in their community as they choose.

About The Role

Our customers are adults who live with a disability with complex behaviours of concern and at times complex health issues. The support they receive from you will assist our customers to live the life they want. Supports vary from customer to customer, and from day to day.

Types of duties may include:

  • following established routines and structure
  • supporting a customer with emotional regulation and complex behaviours of concerns
  • meal preparation
  • personal care
  • daily living tasks
  • domestic assistance
  • transport
  • medication administration and support for medical appointments

Successful applicants require a current NSW Drivers Licence, a current First Aid Certificate and a full COVID-19 vaccination and booster. You will need at least 2 years’ experience working with people who display complex behaviours of concern and the ability to implement comprehensive behaviour support plans and health care plans and Certificate III or IV in Disability or equivalent accreditation in social science or community services.

An offer will be subject to a police clearance, a pre-employment medical and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
