About The Role

Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for 2 Ethical Standards Advisors/Investigators to work within our Safeguarding Team.

The position will give the successful candidates the opportunity to help build, implement and embed quality and safeguarding systems across the organisation.

Reporting to the Safeguarding Manager, the Ethical Standards Advisors/Investigators will work collaboratively with key operational staff, group business support services and external stakeholders to support the operational effectiveness of all core quality and safeguarding systems across the organisation; to ensure we continue to deliver high quality person-centred care that aligns with the expectations and needs of our customers, staff and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding requirements.

About You

We are seeking 2 dynamic individuals who shares our passion for providing quality and safe services to our customers.

Your experience and knowledge should include most, if not all:

  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and conventions including the Human Rights Convention and Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
  • Understanding of the principles of the NDIS Code of Conduct and its application in the provision of quality care
  • Thorough understanding of contemporary person-centred practice that is underpinned by a commitment to Human Rights
  • Working knowledge of incident & complaint management principles, risk management practice, process and systems
  • Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Certificate IV or equivalent in Investigations is highly desirable.

Position Description 

Please note, the successful applicant will be required to hold a NDIS Clearance Check and a Working with Children Check and a Police Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country or countries will also be required.
