As Payroll Officer you will be part of a team that provides timely and accurate processing of Red Cross's end to end payroll. This includes tasks such as processing new hires & variations, assisting with the preparation of redundancy estimate calculations and superannuation changes.
Using a customer service approach you will liaise with employees, internal stakeholders and third parties on all payroll related queries to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
You will provide support and advice to the Recruitment and HR teams in relation to payroll issues, including advice on the preparation of payroll paperwork as required.
You will have experience in a high volume, end to end payroll processing environment including competency in using Payroll systems (Aurion preferred).
A high attention to detail and strong Excel skills should be demonstrated in your application. As well, you will be customer focused, have excellent communication skills and have experience working in a team environment.
