The International Humanitarian Law (IHL) program aims to promote an understanding of International Humanitarian Law by those groups involved in conflict and by the wider community. A key priority for the program is disseminating IHL to the general community through regular training, education and seminars.
Key activities will include the development, organisation and provision of training and events to diverse audiences, in particular speaking on IHL issues to a variety of groups such as Red Cross staff, tertiary students, the medical and legal professions, journalists, and the general public, as well as Defence, Government, Humanitarian Organisations and Civil Defence Forces.
