About the role

Every year thousands of families across the world are separated by conflict and disaster. The Tracing Service in Australia is part of the International Red Cross Red Crescent Family Links Network which aims to restore contact between family members separated by war, conflict, disaster and migration, and to clarify the fate of 'the missing'.

About You

As a Caseworker, you will provide support and referral to individuals, families and communities affected by war, conflict and disaster; assess requests for assistance to locate family members; provide restoring family links services; train and assist volunteers to provide the same; manage a caseload; and promote the service to beneficiaries in the community and immigration detention as well as referring agencies.

You will have proven experience in providing high quality casework, information and culturally appropriate, sensitive services to migrants and refugees.
