About the position

The position has a key role supporting the Area Manager to develop and nurture RFQ’s service culture and standards. The position is responsible for supervising mental health teams and programs. It also has a role building effective working relationships with service partners. A key purpose of the role is to ensure the provision of timely operational information and advice to management and staff.

Requirements include

• Proven experience and capacity to manage and supervise community programs and teams (mental health experience highly regarded)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and personal/interpersonal skills characterised by genuine and open personal qualities, self-reflection and the ability to be other centred
• Proven capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships with high value service partners
• Knowledge of the Queensland operating environment and mental health trends and directions
