What you'll do
You'll be part of the senior team in the Hunter region as a key advisor to the Centre Manager and hold significant autonomy and decision-making capacity. You’ll be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Children Contact Centre Program. You’ll provide direct service delivery where required and assist in the development and support of practitioners.
The details
- 4 days a week including Saturday
- 18-month contract with the possibility to extend
- Approx $50 per hour + super + salary packaging benefits
- Based in Berkeley Vale and Gosford with occasional travel to Newcastle
- Close working with courts, children, families
What you'll bring
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in the human services area (eg social work, psychology), or other relevant qualifications
- Qualifications or demonstrated competencies in supervision, couple or family therapy, family dispute resolution, mediation, counselling, group work, workplace training, psychotherapy, case management
- Strong experience working with families and children as counsellor, couple and family therapist, professional worker
- Demonstrated skills, experience and training as a clinical supervisor, giving and receiving live group work supervision
- Demonstrated competence and understanding of working within a trauma informed framework
