Non-Executive Director (Voluntary)

Prosper Australia

Prosper Australia is seeking directors to assist in growing our research, policy and advocacy programs.

Prosper Australia has achieved state, national and international reach in its pursuit of tax reforms aimed at creating wealth and jobs and making Australia a fairer and more equitable society through reducing the burden of taxes on productive enterprises and on income.

As a registered not-for-profit, with DGR status Prosper operates with limited resources. We need directors who are prepared to commit to actively building and strengthening the organisation.

As a director of Prosper Australia, you can help to make this work more successful. We’re looking for people in the following key areas:

  • Legal, Risk and Compliance
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Fundraising
  • Communications/ marketing
  • Human Resources

If you have none of the above formal qualifications in your CV, don’t be deterred, we need people with governance or management experience who are prepared to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and are committed to making a difference.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in NFP governance
  • A desire to assist a unique NFP working on critical economic reform
  • Awareness of the work of Henry George and a commitment to tax reform, a strong economy and social equity
  • An ability to engage with senior decision-makers, if required.
