Fundraising and events specialists, we want to hear from you! Our Community and Events Manager role is vacant and we’re looking for someone who will be responsible for managing the strategy, design and delivery of our community fundraising portfolio and events. This includes ownership of our Jane McGrath High Tea and a 2IC role in the planning of our annual Pink Test.
If successful, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, developing and executing the Foundation’s community fundraising activations and events
- Owning the Foundation’s annual Jane McGrath High Tea event and playing a 2IC role in the event management of the annual Pink Test
- Identifying and implementing strategies to strengthen, grow and leverage each relationship
- In conjunction with the Head of Cricket and Community, developing the community fundraising budget and ensuring budgets and deadlines are met or exceeded
- Managing and driving measurement for events and community fundraising to evaluate success and key learnings
- Managing and developing materials and supporter journeys to drive Foundation brand awareness and support
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 5 years’ experience managing fundraising and events
- Successful track record of developing fundraising initiatives and managing multiple stakeholders
- Experience driving community campaigns and enablement projects that are aligned with organisational goals, including financial goals. Ability to simultaneously deliver multiple priorities at once
- Demonstrated passion for community engagement and digital platforms to increase participation, drive deeper commitment and fundraising performance
- Excellent self-motivation and ability to lead a team calmly under pressure. Previous people management experience preferred
