Marninwarntikura Womens’ Resource Centre (MWRC) is an Aboriginal-Controlled Organisation located in Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia. MWRC has partnered with Prof Elizabeth Elliott and Dr Lauren Rice from the University of Sydney (USYD) to lead a project that aims to improve the lives of adolescents living in remote Aboriginal Communities.

MWRC and USYD have been working together for over 10 years to lead the response to fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and early life trauma in remote Aboriginal communities.
We are looking for a clinical psychologist or neuropsychologist to spend four to six months working in a remote community in the beautiful Kimberley region of WA.
The successful applicant will join the Bigiswun Kid Project team to conduct neuropsychological assessments with young people aged 17-19 years.
The candidate will be well supported by Dr Lauren Rice who lives and works in the Fitzroy Valley and the Marulu Team at MWRC. The Bigiswun Kid Project also has a Clinical Advisory Team made up of local and international experts in FASD and/or social and emotional wellbeing in First Nation communities.
In addition to a competitive salary and opportunity to be a named author on project outputs, we will also cover return travel to Fitzroy Crossing and housing during your time in the community.
