The Opportunity:

We are seeking casual relief workers to work on an as required basis at our Lorikeet Centre in Leederville.

You would be assisting members with a range of different challenges; finding housing, seeking employment, managing tenancy problems, engaging with primary health, participate in training and education, and various other opportunities and challenges.

You would be part of a team that contributes to the planning, development and delivery of the Lorikeet Centre’s Programs for people with long standing chronic mental illness, working as part of the team on the basis of an ethos of collaboration, co-operation, respect and mutual support.

You would join our team who are driven by our values of Accountability, Integrity, Inclusion & Acceptance, Collaboration and Empowerment, who strive to ensure the people we support can live a good life with the right support by the right person at the right time.

You must be available to work Tuesday to Friday as required. These are all casual positions.

We are an experienced local specialist provider of community mental health services. MIFWA prides itself on providing local, reliable, creative and targeted assistance based on a personal relationship. Our mission is to work alongside people affected by mental health issues in a way that is meaningful to them.

Essential:

  • A national police certificate (no older than 3 months old from date of issue)

Desirable:

  • A valid driver's license
