K&S Disability Care are looking for positive, adaptable and energetic Disability Support Worker who enjoys challenging and rewarding work for a 40 year old client living in Horsham.

About the Role:

Day to day duties may Include (but not limited to):

• Monday to Friday 12PM - 4PM
• Companionship
• Community access and transportation
• Providing active support to client based on their goals
• Medication assistance
• Liaison with families, Co Workers, Support Coordinator
• Medical and other allied health appointments
• Following Positive Behaviour Support Plans

Mandatory Requirements include

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR (annual)
• National Police Children Check (less than 6 months old)
• Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
• Current Australian Drivers License
• Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
• NDIS workers screening check
• Covid fully vaccinated (three doses)

Preferred but not essential:

• Industry experience will be highly regarded
• Minimum of Certificate 3 (desirable) or other relevant qualifications
• Experience working with challenging behaviours
