Belong Blue Mountains (Belong BM) is a community-based, non-government, not-for-profit organisation providing and maintaining a diverse range of community services, programs, projects, events and activities in response to both government funding service priorities and the identified needs within our local communities of service.
We are looking for a friendly, self-starter with gardening and maintenance experience to join our Aged, Chronic Care and Allied Health team, full time or part time, providing general garden maintenance and minor maintenance for clients of our ASSIST Home Maintenance service. An understanding of the needs of older people in our community and people living with a disability is also an important part of this role. Award Level 2: Gardening and Landscaping Services (2010). Charity sector tax concessions available, uniform, tools & equipment, and work ute provided.
This position requires extensive physical activity eg: frequent lifting and turning, working at heights.
To work with Belong BM and so we can meet our funding requirements, you will need to have (or be willing to get) triple vaccinations for Covid-19, working with children check, and a police check.
