The Service Leader, Marketing and Communications is a new role with a focus on coordinating communications and marketing activities across the three entities within the Julia Farr group. We are a trio of social-profit organisations working to create a world where people who live with disability get a fair go at everything life has to offer. Our group includes:

• Purple Orange: our disability advocacy and policy agency
• inhousing: our social landlord, providing accessible homes and assistive technology
• Julia Farr MS McLeod Benevolent Fund: our grant making fund.

You will be responsible for ensuring a joined-up approach to marketing and communications that levers the value of our amazing content to maximise our reach into the disability community and with stakeholders, strengthening our position as the ‘go to’ voice for authentic inclusion of people living with disability.

You’ll lead a small team working across digital channels and news media. You will plan and lead well-targeted marketing and communications campaigns to broaden engagement in our policy initiatives and to promote our housing vacancies and building expertise, assistive technology services and our grant opportunities.

You will bring

• deep commitment to social justice and the advancement of people into lives of valued membership in mainstream community life
• experience and success in planning and leading a diverse program of communications work across digital communications and media
• experience and success in setting up and maintaining news media stakeholder relationships
• a positive approach to achieving good outcomes across the group
