As one of WA’s leading disability support agencies, we are very keen to recruit a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who is committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of others. 

We are offering a flexible work environment for a qualified health professional (psychologist, speech pathologist or occupational therapist) with experience in Positive Behaviour Support using contemporary, best practice approaches. 

The successful candidate will join our Allied Health Team, implementing positive behaviour support practices for people we support. 

You will need: 

• Registration with AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia       
• Experience in delivering positive behaviour support to people with complex behavioural needs
• Knowledge of restrictive practices and understanding of existing frameworks
• An understanding and experience in the use of relevant assessment tools
• Highly developed report writing and behavioural data analysis skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team, contributing professional skills and knowledge, including your expertise to colleagues and the team
• A sound understanding of current disability issues, NDIS and the National Standards for Disability.
