About the role

A unique opportunity exists for an experienced graphic designer to join our growing, highly collaborative team.

The role is responsible for assisting in the execution of design projects in collaboration with senior designer and internal stakeholders. You will create and craft engaging visual solutions across print, digital, and social media channels. And you will provide high quality design across multi-projects whilst working within brand strategy and guidelines.

About you

The team is looking for someone with solid integrated design experience, able to work across multiple touchpoints, with the ability to produce high quality design from concept through to production. You will know print, screen and digital best practices and have a high level of skill in Adobe Creative Suite. An understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and digital design applications would be advantageous. You have excellent communication and client liaison skills and can review briefs, evaluate content needs. Will be able to work independently and remotely but in a communicative and collaborative manner.

  • Review design briefs in conjunction with Senior Designer and determine requirements
  • Ability to conceptualise brief, prepare concepts and provide visual graphic design solutions, and revisions ensure Brand Guidelines are consistently applied for each design project
  • Work closely with GFA key internal and external stakeholders to create and develop design assets in timely manner
  • Develop illustrations for social media and internal requirements in branded style for multiplatform channels, including, Canva, Adobe suite and across multi-software platforms
  • Prepare Brand eDMs and templates through SF Pardot and Mailchimp as required
  • Prepare digital assets for social media, multi-platforms and webpages, website as required

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 5 years graphic design experience
  • Experience with branding and brand design
  • Passion for great design, with attention for detail
  • High level graphic design skills using Adobe Suite, including Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience in Canva an advantage
  • Experience HTML/CSS coding an advantage
  • Knowledge Salesforce, Pardot, Mailchimp an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently as well as closely with hands-on Manager
  • Excellent relationship building skills with a high degree of empathy, kindness, and care

FTE:

This position will be Part time 24hrs per week (3-4 days over 4 days) working remotely with occasional flexibility.

Contract:

This role will initially be contracted for a one-year period, with the option to extend as required and feasible.
