Come and join Australia's most innovative and dynamic home health organisation!
Hi there! We're Five Good Friends, and we're an approved aged care and registered NDIS service provider. We help our clients (we call them Members) live vibrantly in their own homes by wrapping a care team around them and their families. Our software coordinates in the background so our teams can do their best work.
Good people using friendly software is how we do care differently and why we're invited back into the homes of our Members - over 28,000 times a month. More and more people are choosing Five Good Friends, and we want to help them. Our carers (we call the Helpers) play a key role in creating the magic for our members. Five Good Friends strives to form high-quality, long-lasting connections between Members and their Helpers.
This permanent, full-time role of Community Workforce Coordinator reports to the Disability Care Team Leader. Working in partnership with our Care Coordinators, Members, Helpers (support workers) and other key stakeholders you will focus on matching Members to Helpers; building sustainable, effective support relationships.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, fast paced team who are committed to building an outstanding service delivery model and experience for our Helpers and Members. You will also create and manage rosters and schedule of supports.
The core responsibilities of the role include:
You have experience developing rosters and active scheduling. You are calm under pressure and love to problem solve.
You have experience in understanding care needs and translating that understanding into quality support arrangements.
You appreciate the detail and importance of timeliness and deadlines. You enjoy working in a face paced environment.
You are passionate about supporting people with disability to achieve their goals. You love to learn what supports can make a difference, so you take the time to listen to their knowledge about what works and doesn’t work for them.
You are committed to supporting Helpers (support workers) to develop their skills and provide exceptional services.
You have strong communication and relationship skills. You are patient, and you give people space to talk. You understand the benefit feedback plays in shaping great culture and strive to uphold the values of the company.
You'll be an advocate for the use of our software and you will be able to assist people (including Helpers) to use it to their maximum ability.
You have experience working with people with disability.
You believe that providing support services is a partnership between us, the Member, their Helpers and other important stakeholders.
You are reflective and if things go wrong, or miss the mark, you lean in and review this to learn and improve.
You'll make hundreds of important decisions throughout a working week. No one will tell you what to do, but you'll know your goal, the regulations and our collective expectations. You will be supported by a caring team.
You will be required to complete and maintain an NDIS Workers Screening Check. You must have the right to work in Australia.
The way we work and the perks we offer are designed to help you live a fulfilling life. The work we do is meaningful, and the problems we solve are interesting.
