Strelley Community School is a remote Aboriginal Independent Community School located in the Pilbara Region of WA. It comprises of 2 campuses (Strelley & Warralong) and caters for Kindergarten to Year 12.

The language, culture and history of the students is highly respected and valued within the school and its programs.

Strelley Community School now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join their team in Warralong, WA.

Reporting to the Principal, the Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for teaching across Kindy and Year 1 classes and promoting positive behaviour choices. You'll work closely with the Teacher responsible for the age group above yours, with an integrated approach to learning. In addition, you will be responsible for planning and programming in a creative way in order to meet the desired learning outcomes for your students, including play-based learning, 2-way learning and On Country learning.

In addition to regular classroom teaching responsibilities, you will also take part in the Healthy Living Program, which ensures students receive basic needs care such as breakfast and morning tea each day.
