We operate predominately to provide assistance to disadvantaged renters and consider affordable and secure housing to be a human right. We are currently seeking expressions of interest to join our management committee in a voluntary capacity. We are seeking people with interest in both executive and ordinary member roles.
We are looking for people who rent or work in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney (Waverley, Woollahra or Randwick LGAs) or have a demonstrated interest in the rights of renters either in the Eastern Suburbs or more generally.
People with relevant skills, e.g. policy, advocacy, community development, financial management/accounting are encouraged to apply.
Please note, we cannot accept applications from staff or management of social or community housing providers or Real Estate Agents.
Please send a copy of your curriculum vitae with a brief statement (500 words or less) outlining why you are seeking to apply for this position to Hayley Stone, Executive Officer, at h.stone@eats.org.au using the subject line: Management Committee Member application via EthicalJobs.
