The Diplomacy Training Program (DTP) is looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to contribute to its work promoting children’s rights and building the capacity to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Commitment, initiative, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are as important to this role as experience. There will be opportunities to help grow the program, and to contribute to other parts of DTP’s work for human rights.
Working closely with DTP’s Communications and Office Coordinator, along with DTP’s Executive Director, the CRC Team, other staff members and interns and volunteers, the role will involve providing support to coordinate, organise and develop the child rights capacity building training program in Australia and internationally.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours) per week (flexible and family friendly hours can be negotiated) and is for 12 months (may be extended subject to the availability of funding). The salary is to be negotiated, based on experience.
The Diplomacy Training Program (DTP) is an independent, Australian NGO committed to advancing human rights and empowering civil society in the Asia Pacific region through quality education and training, and the building of skills and capacity in NGOs and for individual human rights defenders and community advocates. DTP is a charity affiliated with the Faculty of Law, UNSW, Sydney. It is a small highly focused, high-output organisation seeking a highly committed and motivated individual to join its small team.
