Our opportunity

We are building a contemporary Marketing & Engagement function and are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and community minded marketing professional to join our team.

The role of our Manager Marketing & Engagement leads and manages the marketing and communications function, and team, for Cafs. Reporting to the CEO this role will ensure that Cafs has a strong understanding of competitor market for grants and philanthropic funds. It will build awareness and capture attention through a solid and consistent communication plan, and deliver consistent messaging that resonates with target audiences, both internal and external.

This diverse role will play an active role in supporting the whole organisation with marketing and engagement advice and guidance.

About you

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional, wanting a role where they can influence and make a difference. This role would be well suited to someone with demonstrated experience in generalist marketing as well as a leader looking to manage and develop a small team of professionals.

You will have experience developing and implementing campaigns, informing marketing strategies and approaches, and engaging with a variety of stakeholders. As a senior leader, you will have experience in annual planning, working towards organisational strategy and supporting business development.

There is a lot of scope and opportunities with this role, and we encourage people with marketing and management experience to express their interest in this role.

Our successful candidate will hold the below skills and attributes

  • Relevant Marketing and communications qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing and communications
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Executive and Leadership Team members to support program specific initiatives requiring brand support, awareness and marketing expertise
  • Support the delivery of high-quality tender and grant applications
  • Demonstrated experience working in a senior marketing role
  • Strong experience with systems such as WordPress, Canva and adobe
  • Alignment to Cafs values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, Kindness & Innovation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or business studies.
