Brainwave was founded in 1994 to provide practical support and care to children impacted by neurological conditions and their families. Brain injury and illness change people’s lives and futures. We are here for the whole family from the point of diagnosis onwards. No matter where families are in Australia, we help support them by providing holistic support in times of crisis, ongoing access to information and resources, and build meaningful social connections with and between families.

The Role

Working closely with Brainwave's Services Manager and the Westmead and Randwick children's hospitals, this new 0.4FTE role is responsible for coordinating in NSW in-hospital support (registration, Bear Essentials Packs, emergency accommodation, meal vouchers, ward volunteers, First 100 Day Guide), in-home support and community events (family days, Christmas party, volunteers, Mums groups), as well as maintaining records in Salesforce and Volaby and compliance with policies and procedures.
