who we are

The Betty Amsden Foundation is a private philanthropic foundation established in 2014 by Miss Betty Amsden AO DSJ (1924-2017). Betty was a passionate believer in the power of philanthropy to help build strong, equitable and inclusive communities.

Our three key focus areas are:

1. Foster community spirit through the arts.
2. Improve the lives of children and young people (aged between 10 and 40 years).
3. Encourage leadership development and personal growth for people working in the non-profit sector.

about the role

Reporting to the Board of Trustees and working closely with the Chair, the Executive Officer will be responsible for developing and executing strategy and managing our grant-making and award/scholarship programs and alumni as well as managing the annual budgets and all Foundation operations.

Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
