We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Counsellor to provide time limited brief counselling and casework to people impacted by Forced Adoptions. You will facilitate records tracing and support the administration of the Small Grants Program.
To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding of history of Forced Adoption in Australia and of issues/barriers faced by people impacted, including long term impact.
You must be able to demonstrate skills in providing professional faceto-face, telephone, online and other mediums of services including; engaging clients, providing needs assessments, counselling, case management and referral to other relevant services.
This is a part time position working 3 days per week
