About the role

This role requires someone who intrinsically thinks outside the box, who has an ability to roll their sleeves up and do everything from strategic design, through to mock ups for testing and prototyping.

You can inspire both your direct team and those around you, lead workshops and drive project focus to balance organisation and user needs. You’re an optimistic problem solver who can find ways to get things done and you believe great design is fundamental to a great solution.

What you will bring

• Able to demonstrate a very high proficiency in Human Centre Design and co-design practices
• Strong understanding of best practice design principles and applications (across platforms)
• Experience in service design across channels and platforms is highly desirable
• Interaction/CX Design background is highly desirable
• Experiment design or participation highly desirable
• Exposure to Agile methodologies desirable
• Strong experience creating and implementing design solutions for a variety of projects as a Service Designer, UX Designer, Interaction Designer or CX Designer
• An excellent understanding of web and mobile design principles and best use of current web and mobile technologies
• An understanding or User Research, Customer Journey Mapping, Information Architecture, Interaction Flow, User Interface and Visual Design
• Experience working with culturally and experientially diverse people and communities will be an advantage.
• Previous experience living and/or working in regional Australia will be an advantage.
