About the role 

Responsible for modelling and budgeting future inventory requirements for our network of over 160 Australian Red Cross Shops, this role will provide direction for stock procurement, pricing, allocation, monitoring national store inventory levels and ensuring strategic replenishment, to maximise sales and increase profitability.

You will be responsible for managing data from the Point of Sale (POS), reviewing sales patterns and developing sales plans as well as reporting on merchandise sales performance and providing direction on markdowns, forward cover, stock-to-sales ratio, and stock turns.

What you will bring 

  • Proficiency in using all standard MS Office packages and data analytical tools such as Power BI
  • Demonstrated Financial, Quantity Planning or Statics background would provide appropriate experience for the role
  • Proven retail experience, preferably within merchandise planning
  • A strong problem solving mindset along with analytical skills to analyse and assess complex and contradictory information
  • A proven focus on continuous improvement and effective planning
  • A current unrestricted Driver Licence is a mandatory requirement of this role

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 5. Salary from $93,879.76 + superannuation + salary packaging.
