The Night Cafe supports young people aged 12-25 years who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. The Night Cafe provides a safe space where young people experiencing deep social exclusion have their basic needs met whilst connecting with the people, activities, and services. By building effective pathways through referral, the Night Cafe assists young people have the knowledge, access to resources, tools and skills to improve social connection and participation.
In this position, you will provide individualised support to young people to identify strengths and needs to support the achievement of goals.
This role involves casual hours, including working Tuesday and Thursday evenings until 9pm.
