About the role

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for driving sales to achieve targets through clear direction and an engaged workforce. Working in conjunction with the Store Manager, you will assist and provide support to pro-actively develop and drive local and national marketing campaigns and promotional activity within the store e.g. VIP events to drive both sales and donation activity. On a day to day basis, you will help lead a team of staff and volunteers through ongoing coaching and support.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated experience as a leader of senior staff member in a retail shop (preferably fashion and/or recycled goods related)
  • Proven ability to drive sales
  • Leadership to manage and drive success with the team and volunteers 
  • Sound presentation and visual merchandising skills in line with current trends
  • Strong sales and customer service acumen
  • Ability to drive KPI goals
