ACD is excited to be recruiting for the new position of Policy and Advocacy Manager to advance our systemic advocacy to improve the lives of children with disability and their families.

The Policy and Advocacy Manager will provide leadership on policy, stakeholder engagement and systemic advocacy. The role works in close collaboration with the CEO and the leadership team.

The role includes identifying and pursuing advocacy on existing and emerging issues for children with disability and their families, leading family engagement and supporting government engagement.

The Manager is responsible for researching and writing submissions, managing relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring policy and advocacy work includes input from families and is based on evidence and a rights framework.

This position is based at our office in Surrey Hills. It is a 4-day-a-week to full-time role and has some flexibility with working from home.
