A-One Homecare is currently seeking individuals to join our incredible team. At A-One, we understand that no two participants are the same. So we are seeking unique, goal driven and motivated Support workers who can work closely with our participants, building a trusting relationship whilst providing our specialised A-one service.

As a Support worker, you will engage 1:1 with individuals who identify with a Physical, Intellectual or Neurological Disability and support them on a regular basis to improve their overall skills and improve their independence.

We have a wide range of shifts available which can be tailored to your availability. This includes; Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Enthusiasm and a high interest to work within the disability sector.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both Participants and Management.
  • An overall Positive and CAN-DO attitude.
  • An understanding of what it means to support in a way that respects our participants; Rights, Dignity, Values, Beliefs, Cultural Needs and Personal Goals.

Essential Requirements for this role:

  • Current NDIS Screening Check (or willing to apply)
  • Current Working with Children’s Check (Or willing to apply)
  • First Aid Check – Including CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver’s License
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module
  • Digital Copy of COVID 19 Vaccination
  • Reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Smart Phone
  • A qualification within the Supporting industry (Cert III Individual Support or Certificate 4 in Disability or Mental Health).
  • Willing to do personal care

APPLICANTS MUST NOTE

A One Homecare operates a stringent safety screening procedure in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements and requires all applicants to have competed an NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement. Above this, A One Homecare also require successful applicants to provide at the time of onboarding copies of:

  • A current Working with Children's Check
  • A current First Aid and CPR qualification
  • A current driver licence
  • Employees are required to ensure that they have Full Comprehensive Insurance at all times on the vehicle being used.
  • Employees are required to ensure that the registration on the vehicle being used is also current.
  • Employees are required to have a current First Aid and CPR at the commencement of their employment.

Interviews will occur throughout the advertised period.
