Animal Welfare League NSW AWL is a registered charity that has been caring for surrendered, neglected and abandoned animals for over 50 years.
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time position of Shelter Operations Manager based at our Kemps Creek Shelter, overseeing our shelter operations across our three New South Wales locations.
AWL's goal is for all companion animals in NSW have a safe and loving home. Our Mission is to lead the standard of animal care and sheltering.
The ideal candidate to join our team must be passionate about AWL's goals and mission.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing the Shelter services by providing strong leadership to the team and by ensuring processes are implemented to support quality animal care, promoting responsible animal ownership and a high standard of Animal Welfare.
The successful candidate is likely to have experience gained within an animal care or welfare environment which saw them working with a range of animal types including domestic animals and live stock.
Tertiary qualifications or experience gained from managing animal welfare operations would be highly regarded.
Drivers licence is required.
