ACARES provides support for individuals with disabilities throughout greater Sydney, as well as regional and rural NSW. What we are looking for?

ACARES is looking for passionate and committed Disability Support Workers to join our organisation. We are keen to speak to people that are interested in establishing a career within the dynamic disability sector. We have a variety of ongoing shifts to suit your needs.

We are currently seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to support our clients living various locations in the North Shore & Northern Beaches of Sydney. Regular, ongoing shifts are available for suitable candidates. 

You will be assisting clients within their own homes with personal and domestic support, as well as social and community access and to encourage our clients to achieve maximum personal independence.

Mandatory requirements:

• National police check
• Employee working with children check
• Current first aid and CPR certificates
• Current driver's licence and reliable car

Highly desirable:

• Certificate IV Disability or higher
• Manual handling training and/or experience
• Experience supporting clients within their home or in similar setting.
