<h3>About the Permanency Team Leader position</h3>
<p>As the Team Leader you will supervise a team of case managers from an operational perspective as they work to achieve a vision of ensuring children, young people and families are well supported through their key life transitions and are able to achieve positive life outcomes and live fulfilling, productive and happy lives.</p>
<p>About the role:</p>
<ul>
<li>Providing clients with support, practical advice, education and information</li>
<li>Undertaking assessments and liaising with other internal or external professionals to complete assessments or make referrals;</li>
<li>Undertaking a limited load of complex casework with clients as required;</li>
<li>Ensuring case managers maintain quality case management in line with NSW Out of Home Care Standards, relevant legislation and contractual obligations;</li>
<li>Assisting in the maintenance of client records to meet privacy, confidentiality and security standards, client file audits and transfer of files;</li>
<li>Complete necessary data collection, case notes and reports within required timeframes;</li>
</ul>
<p>In this role you will be supported by a collaborative and knowledgeable team and will have access to a wide variety of training and supports to aid professional growth. Marymead also offers generous salary packaging options to increase your take home pay.</p>
<p>The Team Leader position is a<strong> permanent full-time</strong> position based at our <strong>Goulburn office </strong>to start ASAP.</p>
<h3>Qualifications, certifications and security clearances</h3>
<ul>
<li>Degree in Social Work, Psychology or similar</li>
<li>Leadership experience including leading and developing a team</li>
<li>Working with Children Check (NSW)</li>
<li>Unrestricted Driver's Licence</li>
<li>Certificate IV in Frontline Management or similar is desirable</li>
<li>Extensive experience in Out of Home Care will be highly regarded</li>

<h3><strong>Role Description</strong></h3>
<p>Under general direction, the Service Coordiantor will coordinate services which support children and young people with disability to work towards their individual goals and enhance and promote their development and independence. This role works from a strengths-based perspective.</p>
<p>This position involves working with the Team Leader, the Ricky Stuart House Lead, Corals Cottage Lead as well as a team of support workers in order to maximise outcomes for children and young people with disability. It also involves the development and implementation of procedures in the provision of client support services. This is a <em><strong>part-time </strong><strong>6 months contract,</strong></em> with a requirement of <em><strong>50 hours per fortnight. </strong></em></p>
<h3><strong>Your duties and responsibilities in this role will be (but will not be limited to):</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Implement overall program plans and strategies as instructed;</li>
<li>Promotion of program to external and internal stakeholders</li>
<li>Provide guidance and support to a team of support</li>
<li>Participate in fortnightly supervision sessions;</li>
<li>Support the on-call rotation</li>
<li>Engage with new clients referred to Accommodation Services (and their families), providing a tour of facilities, and explanation of services provided, and completion of Service Agreement documentation.</li>
<li>Implement strategies to develop skills and enhance independence;</li>
<li>Provide guidance to support workers to implement individual support plans as required;</li>
<li>Work closely with Team Leader to develop procedures in the provision of client support services;</li>
<li>Develop, maintain and track client service agreements</li>
<li>Billing for disability programs;</li>
<li>Manage all bookings for Short Term Accommodation;</li>
<li>Ensure up to date, well written, accurate and comprehensive records are completed by support staff, including medication administration procedures, documentation; behaviour management plans and critical incident reporting;</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Qualifications, skills and experience</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Essential:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Senior First Aid Certificate; <strong><em>(at own expense)</em></strong></li>
<li>Experience in working with case management, billing and rostering software</li>
<li>Working with Vulnerable People Clearance (ACT) and Working with Children Check (NSW)</li>
<li>NDIS Worker Screening</li>
<li>NDIS Worker Orientation Module</li>
<li>Current unrestricted drivers&rsquo; licence.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Sound organisational skills;</li>
<li>Ability and experience in working effectively as a team member/and supervisor;</li>
<li>Experience in working with people with a range of disabilities;</li>
<li>Familiarity with the principles and objectives of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).</li>

<h3>About Marymead</h3>
<p>An exciting new partnership has been formed between Marymead and the Conflict Resolution Service (CRS) to deliver The Safe and Connected Youth (SACY) program. The Safe and Connected Youth Program will work therapeutically with young people (8-15 yrs) and their families to resolve conflict and improve family functioning to reduce the risk of youth homelessness in the ACT.</p>
<p>Through this partnership with CRS, Marymead will be delivering the Therapeutic Respite Accommodation element of the program through the Ruby&rsquo;s model based in a six-bedroom facility in Waramanga. Marymead are now looking <strong>for multiple Youth Workers for casual positions</strong> to join the team.</p>
<h3><strong>About the Youth Worker (Safe and Connected Youth) positions</strong></h3>
<p>As a Youth Worker, you will report directly to the Team Leader and work as part of a collaborative team to engage with young people and their families within a therapeutic, strengths-based approach in a caring and supportive environment.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Engaging with young people and family members in line with the Ruby&rsquo;s Principles, Theories &amp; Key Practices, ensuring a constructive environment where positive change can be facilitated</li>
<li>Supporting and guiding all young people while on shift</li>
<li>Developing and facilitating activities for young people that will enhance their living skills and help them achieve their goals</li>
<li>Maintaining contact with young people&rsquo;s parents/carers</li>
<li>You will act as a Key Worker with assigned young people by:
<ul>
<li><em>Working with Young People, the Counsellor and Team Leader to determine their goals;</em></li>
<li><em>Advocating for the young people, as required;</em></li>
<li><em>Conducting weekly case work sessions;</em></li>
<li><em>Maintaining regular contact with their parents;</em></li>
<li><em>Organise celebrations, positive records, and marking rites of passage for young people as per the Ruby&rsquo;s Service Model</em></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Facilitating harmonious relationships by modelling appropriate behaviour</li>
<li>Assisting young people to comply with house rules</li>
<li>Resolving conflict by using a conciliation process and escalating matters to the Team Leader, as required</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>To be successful for this role you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Certificate IV in Youth Work or the equivalent</li>
<li>Manual Handling Category 1, or willing to undertake prior to role commencement</li>
<li>National Police Check</li>
<li>Working with Vulnerable People Clearance (ACT)</li>
<li>Unrestricted Driver&rsquo;s Licence</li>
