Children First Foundation (CFF) is a Victorian based charity that believes every child is entitled to excellent medical treatment regardless of where they were born or where they live. Through our Miracle sMiles Program, we enable life-changing surgery in Australia for disadvantaged children from developing countries.

You may be familiar with Nima and Dawa, the formerly conjoined twins from Bhutan? Children First Foundation is the organisation that brought the girls and their Mum to Australia for Nima and Dawa’s life saving separation, and five months treatment and care.

CFF works in collaboration with exceptional surgeons, health professionals and hospitals who provide first-class surgery and medical treatment. We also partner with international individuals and not-for-profit organisations such as Interplast Australia and New Zealand, ROMAC, No Roads - Health (PNG) and AACHOL Trust (Bangladesh) who refer children to us.

We are a small team doing a big job, hence the Program Support & Administration Officer’s role is pivotal to the achievement of the Foundation’s core functions and mission. So …

  • Are you looking for a unique, special role that embraces and enhances your passion to assist disadvantaged children doing it tough?
  • Are you able to warmly relate to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, visitors and the general public, and build a rapport quickly?
  • Are you process driven and show initiative, with demonstrated project management and office administrative skills?
  • Are you competent in using Microsoft Office products and MYOB?
  • Are you comfortable in assisting with a broad range of events?

This position is 0.5 FTE with flexible working hours. It is currently based in North Melbourne.

Salary is commensurate with experience and skills. PBI salary packaging is available.
