Bowral Youth Refuge is a specialist homeless service that provides emergency crisis accommodation and support to homeless youth aged 12 - 25 years, who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. Bowral Youth Refuge has 7 beds and is staffed 24x7, residents stay up to 6 months. The refuge operates 24 hours a day, seven days per week to provide safe and secure accommodation for homeless youth.
The Senior Youth Engagement Specialist is primarily responsible for the daily running of Bowral Youth Refuge, including the development, coordination and implementation of community, educational, life skills and other relevant in-house programs. The Senior Youth Engagement Specialist and youth workers work closely with the case management team.
