Planet Ark Power is offering a unique opportunity to join an exceptional team dedicated to a zero-carbon future by stripping away the barriers to optimising investment in and roll out of large-scale roof-top solar energy across Australia’s commercial, industrial and institutional sectors. 

We’re looking for a committed and motivated person to fill the newly created role of Communications and Content Co-ordinator. Reporting to the Director – Stakeholder Engagement and Strategy, the successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include:

  • contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of Planet Ark Power’s Strategy, Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Plan;
  • developing, supporting and promoting Planet Ark Power’s goals, including message and content development, social media content creation and media outreach;
  • shaping & disseminating corporate public relations materials and content to increase Planet Ark Power’s visibility amongst our diverse range of stakeholders and customers;
  • building, maintaining and growing relationships with journalists, bloggers, investors, stakeholders and customer audiences;
  • collaborating with internal & external communications advisors to promote joint initiatives to targeted audiences;
  • aligning digital marketing content with Planet Ark Power’s identity, values and messages and assisting with developing marketing campaigns;
  • maintaining and co-ordinating the Engagement & Events Calendar across the organisation and providing content for internal communications platforms. 

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • minimum 3 years’ experience in related communications roles supported by relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, public relations or like fields;
  • excellent written and verbal skills, including ability to translate complex technical concepts into user friendly messages and content;
  • knowledge of and experience in digital marketing, communications platforms and emerging communications technologies;
  • demonstrated success in improving brand awareness and increasing content across a range of digital and print media;
  • a strong, positive work ethic and ability to work in and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
