Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to provide services to men experiencing substance misuse issues, and to reduce the uptake of alcohol and other drugs and empower and motivate community in making positive changes in their lives.

The role includes prevention, early intervention, group support, basic counselling, and referral to specialist services including treatment and care coordination and ongoing support. Full-time position. 

Our ideal person has:

  • solid understanding of issues confronting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities
  • case management and exceptional people skills
  • relevant qualification or significant experience and training
