Do you have what it takes to be an extraordinary mentor to our participants living with disabilities?
Options is seeking suitable Mentors to support people with disabilities to develop new skills that prepare them to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Participants come to Options with a range of goals, including wanting to find a job, to cook meals, learning how to use public transport to access community groups and activities and to explore individual interests. Support may include assisting a person in a work environment while they are gaining experience and skills for work, modelling appropriate work place behaviours and encouraging communication.
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia, and will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
