You will be an energetic, empathetic, innovative, and ethical community services professional that values dignity and choice; whilst also abreast contemporary social issues relating to discrimination and access rights. Also, you will have group facilitation skills to help the clients to understand their common objectives and assists them to plan how to achieve these objectives
This role will require a breadth of skills across capacity building (i.e. individual skills development), community access, household tasks (i.e. cleaning), and self (personal) care. You will be required to at times provide progress notes to your Coordinator and maintain regular communications about your support work to ensure that pathways are aligned with participants’ goals.
Aged Care Support swill also be required therefore flexibility to work across the disability and aged care sector are a must!
CALD professionals that can speak another language will be highly regarded.
