Cardinia Shire Council is looking for a motivated and experienced community development worker to build partnerships with key agencies and support the Shire's South Sudanese community to access services and programs. This is a fixed term position until June 2020 and Council is seeking applicants with demonstrated experience in community development and project management. 

The successful candidate will be sit within the Council's Community Strengthening team and have the opportunity to drive community outcomes and programs to deliver positive change for South Sudanese residents. 

If you have experience working with the South Sudanese Community or a passion for social inclusion and community engagement, then this could be the role for you.

We need the right person with an understanding of social inclusion or prior experience with community planning initiatives to take this newly developed and funded role into the community and start making positive changes in the South Sudanese Community

Those with Sudanese background will be highly regarded.
