The key purpose of this new role is to improve awareness of, and access to, cancer information and support services for people affected by cancer ensuring patients and carers have access to relevant supportive care information and services, in the right place, at the right time.
Reporting remotely to the Cancer Council Project Manager and supported on-site by the local Cancer Services Management and Allied Health Manager, the position is part of a new organisational strategic initiative, and will be based in the Central West Cancer Care Centre in Orange. You will be part of a wider team of health professionals based out of the centre.
This new 3 year contract, will value your ability to quickly immerse yourself within the Cancer Centre, and through a collaborative approach, improve referrals to support services for those affected by cancer.
