This is a unique opportunity to join Zoos Victoria and play a part in our exciting future at Werribee. Our skilled team is expanding to maintain the additional gardens and exhibits associated with our recent development of a world leading Elephant habitat and associated walking trails and visitor experiences.
As a member of our Horticulture team, you will maintain existing landscapes to agreed standards of horticulture presentation, undertake landscape renewal and land management of gardens, browse plantations, exhibits and areas of natural habitat at Werribee Open Range Zoo. You will work with other Horticulture Team members, taking direction from Horticulturist, Coordinators and the Horticulture and Grounds Manager.
We are seeking motivated, results-oriented applicants that are team focused. A strong work ethic, time and teamwork skills are essential to this role where you will be working autonomously and an as part of a team. You will work with the team to deliver high standards of Horticulture maintenance and project delivery.
