YWCA Australia is a profit-for-purpose, values-based organisation committed to building a future where all women and girls are equal, safe and respected. We have entered exciting times following the national merger, where we have recently formed as one national organisation with over 400 staff across more than 15 locations throughout Australia. We run programs and services which empower women through leadership, advocacy and the provision of critical community services across Australia’s diverse social and geographic landscape. Additionally, YWCA have an innovative commercial 'profit for purpose' arm with our Song Hotel and Kitchen, located in Surry Hills.
As a valued member of the national People and Culture team, the HR Business Partner will build strong and effective professional relationships working with the Song Hotel and Kitchen, and national support functions providing advice, guidance and support across a range of HR activities, which includes:
You will be confident and competent in interpretation of industrial instruments and Enterprise Agreements. Experience within a hospitality environment will be highly regarded.
Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, you will have a friendly and supportive team around you, working closely with another HR Business Partner, HR Coordinator and HR Operations Manager to implement ‘best-practice’ national programs and initiatives.
This role would suit a generalist who has been acting in a strong advisory capacity for 3-5 years, ready to take the next step and support clients across commercial and support functions.
Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you.
